Certified top level personal fitness trainer - International Sport Sciences Association Europe, with extensive experience in personal fitness training, holistic wellness coaching, massage therapy and teaching and practicing ohashiatsu®.

Massimo's search for a holistic way to interpret the body resulted in more than twenty five years of international work experience in bodywork, including personal fitness training, posture and structure alignment evaluation, wellness coaching, as well as massage therapy, reflexology and ohashiatsu.

His studies of Chinese Medicine, Ohashiatsu®, Tai Chi, Ashtanga Yoga, Massage Therapy, Ayurveda and more, have resulted in a deeper understanding of the body as a whole, a unique entity.

This approach, combined with postural evaluation, specific stretching, mobility and strength training, as well as functional and breathing exercises makes your training session a truly holistic experience.

He is the founder and director of Ohashiatsu® in British Columbia. He has been teaching the ohashiatsu curriculum in Italy, Austria, New York, Eastern Europe, Brazil and Vancouver.

He is a Registered Shiatsu Therapist and member of the Shiatsu Therapy Association of British Columbia. He is also a member in good standing of the International Sport Sciences Association Europe since 1999 and in training to obtain the Master in Fitness Sciences from the same association.

Mike Hall

Mike has been in the industry for over a decade and translates his experience into the clients benefit. Mike’s training style is reflective of his athletic training through life and sport, focusing on training for what it is you do in life. Mike has trained and competed at national levels and that has given him a passion for performance that is what drives the love of the job. All in all living a complete healthy lifestyle will improve all of the benefits it is that you are working towards.

Monique Charbonneau
At Bentall Center Athletic Club since June 2005, Monique Charbonneau brings commitment, reliability, knowledge and experience to members with one on one training.

Monique is an Athletic Therapist and Clinical Exercise Physiologist with a degree in Human Kinetics, a certificate in Athletic Therapy, and a vast education within cardiac sciences and rehabilitation. Monique has also completed of her Masters of Science in Rehabilitation Science (MSc RS) degree.

Monique works with a variety of individuals including athletes, weekend warriors, and the general working population.

Assessment and rehabilitation for new or chronic sports injury, prevention workplace repetitive soft tissue injuries, PRE-REHAB program prior to surgery (shoulder, spine, hip, knee, ankle) which includes pain/swelling management, flexibility training, and strength and conditioning is just part of the large scope of expertise Monique brings to her clients.

If you have a complicated medical history (cardiac, respiratory, metabolic etc.) that requires an understanding of prescription medication (pharmacology) and exercise, or requires consultation with other medical providers or specialists, Athletic Therapist and Clinical Exercise Physiologist, Monique is a great fit. She can interpret medical reports, medical imaging reports (CT, MRI, Xray), make further recommendations for follow up (Specialists) and also help educate and manage your overall health and wellness needs.

Monique brings a vast array of knowledge and experience to Bentall Center Athletic Club and continues to expand her education in rehabilitation and health. Athletic Therapy is covered under many extended insurance benefits plans and can be deducted as a medical expense through the Canada Revenue Agency.
